illustration friday: plain
“plain,” for illustration friday. black ink on card stock (the back of an index card, for your information). i think i broke my pen point while doing this; the ink doesn’t come out in a steady stream anymore.
artist comments: it’s been a while. and it’s good to be back.
this picture reminds me of a pair of dear friends of mine who live up in vermont. they’ve been there for over three years now, building their own home on the side of a mountain. i visit them in the summers and help them build things, do some logging, haul bags of cement up the mountainside, and so on. they’re wonderful people, and i’m glad they consider me a friend.
